WOW! That is what comes to mind when I think of the ingeniousness {is that a word} of this Hostess gift! {or stocking stuffer, I have Christmas on the mind today}
It is a cake tester...no more pulling the ugly toothpicks out of the cabinet. This beauty hangs on a magnetic hook on the side of your fridge. Isn't that amazing! I am so thrilled with mine!
Lion Studios has a wonderful product and I am so happy I had the pleasure of reviewing it. I baked a strawberry cake for my hubs and yep, worked like a gem. Plus I felt fancy using this instead of an ole, ugly toothpick!

She can design one in specific colors, too. This would be a perfect shower gift .

~Shandells Matches & Giveaway!~{Closed}

Shandell's is truly a one of a kind shop. Susan has been collecting vintage pieces and designs for more than 15 years. She has a deep passion for these "things that make you smile"~!
I love how wonderfully colorful her online shop is. It makes me want to redo my house to match some of her inspiring lamps. You must check these out!
Shandell's has been featured in many articles including The New York Times and Inventing Weddings.



Susan has also been making these very cool match box sets! Look at the great design and functionality. Talk about a perfect hostess gift!

Here is how it all began: {Taken from her site}

A very good customer gave me a box of matches 15 years ago with a postcard pasted to the top of it. I loved those and used them daily through out my house. Now I make these with wood tops that are covered with vintage images and trimmed in copper.

Each box of matches has a different image per side. They measure 2 5/8 inches x 4 7/8 inches. When the box of matches is empty just refill with standard kitchen matches.

All the materials that are used (except for the ink) are made in the USA.

These are a great gifts, either for someone else or yourself. Put them around the house, on the mantel, in the bathroom, on the kitchen counter, on the coffee table. Enjoy.
